For more than 40 years, CalHFA has supported the needs of renters and first-time homebuyers by creating and financing progressive housing solutions. First-time homeownership is a great opportunity, and also a great responsibility. Statistics show that homebuyer education contributes to successful homeownership. CalHFA wants you to be successful, so we require homebuyer education for every first-time homebuyer using our programs. Once you finish the course, you can print out your Homebuyer Education Certificate, showing you are on your way to successful first-time homeownership!
Note: this registration page is for online Homebuyer Education. If you would prefer to meet with a counselor face-to-face, you can do so through CalHFA's approved provider, NeighborWorks or any HUD-Approved Housing Counseling Agency.
For more information contact a NeighborWorks location or HUD-Approved Housing Counseling Agency near you.
